Live Stock Camera system

I use 1 of 2 kinds of camera depending of cost and location.

Depending on the type of camera used either a home office router or POE+ Switch are used in this role.

I Use a pair of Ubiqui Networks Nanostation M5's to get a internet connection out to the barn or shed. Requiring no trenched or suspended cables.

This is already used if Wi-Fi cameras are used, but if not this will give Wi-Fi access out in the shed or barn.

POE is my preferred method. POE you run one Cat6 Ethernet cable for internet and power.

Wi-Fi you will still need to run a power cord to the camera.
